For many decades, a circular garden fronting the Generalate and Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel existed, with pathways leading to the main areas within the Motherhouse Complex. At the start of the year 2012, however, we saw this garden being transformed into a beautiful MOTHER IGNACIA MEMORIAL CIRCLE, concentrically designed like a clock, with the statue of MOTHER IGNACIA DEL ESPIRITU SANTO prominently elevated on a pedestal at its center.

From our Congregation’s historical perspective, we continue to witness the hand of time turns with regularity and precision in our life and mission, as we, the RELIGIOUS OF THE VIRGIN MARY, faithfully commit to “remain in the service of His Divine Majesty” in our Church today. Truly, in our present time, we constantly look at the real----to MOTHER FOUNDRESS as the PRIME MOVER in our Congregation’s journey towards our spiritual vitality, communal integrity, and apostolic creativity.

On the eve of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, the 1st day of February, 2012, we blessed this MOTHER IGNACIA MEMORIAL CIRCLE and unveiled the statue of our beloved MOTHER FOUNDRESS, as fitting expressions of our love and reverence for a valiant FILIPINA whose spirit lives on through the centuries, beyond time and space.

Indeed, every moment…through her daughters, the RVMs of today, MOTHER IGNACIA DEL ESPIRITU SANTO continues to touch lives towards our loving FATHER whom she chose to humbly serve in her lifetime with faith, hope and charity.
